Adjudicating Red Light Camera Infractions

There are two ways to contest a red light camera violation:

  • You may contest the imposition of this fine by signing and mailing the coupon on the bottom of the notice of liability you received to request an administrative adjudication hearing before the Nassau County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency (TPVA). Your request must be received by the due date stated on the front of the notice. Upon receipt of your request, you will be notified of the date, time, and location of your hearing wherein a personal appearance is required.
  • If the basis of your claim is that your vehicle / plate was stolen or the driver received a ticket from a police officer, you may complete an affidavit of non-responsibility and attach a certified copy of the police report or a copy of the ticket. Your affidavit and supporting documentation will be reviewed and will result in either dismissal of this violation or scheduling of an administrative hearing. You will be notified in writing of any action taken.

You may download an affidavit of non-responsibility at Violation Info. You will need your notice and pin numbers printed on the front of the notice you received to download the affidavit. The affidavit must be completed, signed, notarized, and mailed, with all supporting documentation to:
Nassau County TPVA
Red Light Camera Division
P.O. Box 59995
Phoenix, AZ 85076-9995

The affidavit must be received by the due date stated on the front of this notice.
