December 5, 2018:  On November 29, 2018, the Nassau County Department of Public Works held a public information meeting on the Grand Avenue Complete Streets Project.  The meeting was attended by more than 80 members of the Baldwin Community.  A copy of the Project Presentation is attached below.

October 16, 2018:  The Nassau County Department of Public Works is currently in the Design & Engineering Phase of the Grand Avenue Complete Streets Project. The Department has prepared the following Q&A to answer some of the community’s most frequently asked questions about the project:

June 9, 2016:  The Nassau County Department of Public Works is happy to announce the release of the “Grand Avenue, Baldwin Complete Streets Traffic Study – Final Report”.  The Report documents purpose and need, public outreach, existing traffic conditions, complete streets improvement recommendations, projected future conditions and next steps.  We would like to thank all of the representatives from the County, Town of Hempstead, and local residents and business owners who provided valuable input and feedback throughout the Study.
