Counseling
Once you become a homeowner, we offer assistance and
guidance on healthy homeownership.
Nassau County has instituted a
hotline for homeowners experiencing difficulties with
their mortgage. Certified
counselors are available to meet with homeowners to review
alternatives to foreclosure. In order to schedule an
appointment with a counselor, please print out the application
and submit it along with all the required documents on
the checklist. Once we receive your completed application
and documents, we will contact you for an appointment.
