Department of Assessment Staff Reorganization Continues

(Mineola, NY) In keeping with his pledge to enhance constituent services at the Department of Assessment, Nassau County Assessor Harvey Levinson today announced that he has promoted Michele Flowers to serve as the supervisor in-charge of the Veterans and Senior Citizens Property Tax Exemption Divisions. Michele Flowers has served as the acknowledged departmental authority on property tax exemption issues. Michele's outstanding managerial abilities, coupled with her compassionate handling of constituent inquiries, earned her the respect and admiration of her co-workers and the many veterans and senior citizens she has helped. "Michele is certainly one of the most capable and helpful employees I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with at any level of County government," Assessor Levinson stated.
