Mineola, NY- Nassau County Assessor Harvey Levinson today announced that the Department of Assessment approved and applied over 77,000 senior citizens and veterans' property exemptions to the 2004-05 County Assessment Roll for an assessed savings in excess of over $80 million dollars.
The number of exemptions and amount of assessment savings for senior citizens and veterans for each town and city are as follows:
