ASSESSOR LEVINSON TO APPEAR ON “MEET THE LEADERS”
(Mineola, NY) Nassau County Assessor Harvey Levinson will appear throughout November on Cablevision’s “Meet the Leaders” with former Suffolk County Executive and host Pat Halpin.
Assessor Levinson will discuss the STAR program and this year’s rebate check, his ongoing efforts to reform the school property tax system to help lower homeowner’s school tax obligations, special taxing districts, and his plan to implement a 6% cap on all residential assessments beginning with the 2007-2008 assessment roll (the first roll not under the jurisdiction of the New York State Supreme Court).
