Celebrates Reading

(Mineola, NY)  Each year Seaford Harbor Elementary School celebrates the joy of reading with their students at the Read Aloud and Career Day.  Guest speakers are invited to join the students to talk about their profession and read a book to the class.  Having special visitors helps emphasize the importance of reading and encourages the students to share in the excitement discovered through books.

Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell was on hand to read Aunt Chip & the Great Triple Creek Dam Affair to Mrs. Achatz’s fourth grade class.
