Before you get started there are some things you might find helpful to know about this guide:
- It describes the health insurance benefits provided to Nassau County employees, retirees, and other enrollees, such as spouses, domestic partners, and dependents;
- It contains clickable links to many forms you will need and other websites that you may find useful; and
- If you need information on a topic that is not covered, you should contact your department’s Human Resource Officer. All other enrollees should contact the Nassau County Comptroller’s Office, Health Benefits Unit.
