NASSAU COUNTY COMPTROLLER WEITZMAN RELEASES COMMENTS
ON THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE'S UPDATE TO THE
MULTI-YEAR FINANCIAL PLAN FOR 2003-2006

Nassau County Comptroller Howard S. Weitzman today released his comments on the update to the multi-year financial plan issued by County Executive Thomas Suozzi on May 1. While generally in agreement with the Administration's financial projections, the review notes that the County continues to face daunting financial challenges during the 2003-2006 period, and advises caution on several fronts.
