COMPTROLLER WEITZMAN NAMES RHONDA MACO LEGISLATIVE LIAISON
Nassau County Comptroller Howard Weitzman has named Rhonda L. Maco of Hempstead to the position of Legislative Liaison.
In her new position Ms. Maco will assist the Comptroller on legal and legislative matters, reporting to the Counsel to the Comptroller, Moira La Barbera.
“Rhonda’s legal experience will be an asset to the Comptroller’s Office as we proceed with many of our initiatives,” Comptroller Weitzman said. “Her addition is a considerable boost to an already great team.”
Ms. Maco formerly was employed by Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP, where she was an Associate, dealing with litigation, insurance defense, employment law and general corporate matters. She obtained her law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law, a master’s degree in public relations from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, and graduated cum laude with an English degree from Tuskegee University. She resides in Hempstead with her husband Yves and daughter Nia. |
