Mineola, N.Y.-- Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi will this year continue the tradition of gathering together as a county to remember the lives of the loved ones lost on September 11, 2001. On Sunday, September 11, 2005 at 8:46 a.m., the County Executive will be hosting a moment of silence at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater in Eisenhower Park, across the lake from the Nassau County 9/11 Memorial, which is scheduled to open by the end of the year.
