“Providing individual help is an important part of what we do to help people recover from a disaster,” said Frank Skaggs, Director of SBA Field Operations Center - East. “We also want to let disaster victims know, it is not necessary to wait on the result of insurance claims before returning your completed SBA disaster loan application.”

Anyone unable to visit the Disaster Loan Assistance Centers may obtain an application by calling the SBA National Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (for the hearing-impaired 1-800-877-8339), Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., EDT.  Applications may be obtained, completed and returned to one of SBA Disaster Loan Assistance Centers or mailed to: U. S. Small Business Administration, National Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76155.

The deadline for physical damage applications is May 22, 2006; the deadline for economic injury applications is December 22, 2006.
