Suozzi Celebrates Interfaith Diversity at Annual Thanksgiving Breakfast

Garden City, N.Y. - Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi today spoke at the 5th Annual Thanksgiving Interfaith Diversity Breakfast at the Garden City Hotel. The community’s ethnic, civic and religious organizations came together with the County Executive to celebrate their religious and ethnic diversity and to give thanks for the diversity of the people who have settled and made contributions to the Long Island region.

“This wonderful event reminds us that even though our residents come from so many diverse faiths and traditions, we can achieve our common goals, and make all of our communities even stronger, by working together,” said County Executive Suozzi.

The County Executive was joined by Leslie Bennett, President Emeritus, LI Chapter of the American Jewish Committee, and members of the American Jewish Committee/LI Chapter, the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Latino-Jewish Council of Long Island, the Long Island Board of Rabbis, the Multi-Faith Forum of Long Island, 100 Black Men of Long Island, Inc., and the Sikh Organization of New York.
