Mangano: National Geographic Coming To Nassau County In A Unique Partnership With The Cradle Of Aviation Museum

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano was joined today by Mark Katz, President of National Geographic Cinema Ventures, and Andrew Parton, Executive Director of Cradle of Aviation Museum to announce that the National Geographic Society is coming to Nassau County due to a unique new partnership with the Cradle of Aviation Museum.

“This public private partnership between National Geographic and the Cradle of Aviation’s will allow us to offer new opportunities for school children and visitors,” said County Executive Mangano. “We look forward to National Geographic sharing their films with our residents and expanding this great family entertainment destination here in Nassau County.”

The Cradle of Aviation Museum will become one of only seven museums in the country to join this unique partnership with the National Geographic Society. The partnership will include access to National Geographic’s vast library of films that will be in shown in the museum’s giant screen Dome Theater as well as access to the entire world of National Geographic experiences including exhibits and speakers.
