Gousse Convicted of Murder 1°
Defendant found guilty of Murder 1°, Attempted Robbery 1°, and Criminal Impersonation 1°
MINEOLA, NY – Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice announced that Reginald Gousse was convicted today by a Nassau County jury of Murder in the First Degree, a Class A Felony, Attempted Robbery in the First Degree, a Class C Felony, and Criminal Impersonation in the First Degree, a Class E Felony. He faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The trial began more than two weeks ago in front of Judge Jerald Carter in the Nassau County Courthouse. The jury deliberated for less than four hours before convicting Mr. Gousse.
Mr. Gousse is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing April 19 in front of Judge Carter.
ADA Fred Klein, Chief of the Major Offense Bureau, handled the case for the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Gousse was represented by Martin Geduldig.
