Alloco Gets 4 to 12 Years in Prison for Two Rapes, Possessing Child Pornography
Baldwin man admitted to rapes after search warrant revealed dozens of images and videos on a personal computer
MINEOLA, NY – Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice announced that Kevin Allocco, 22, has been sentenced to four to 12 years in prison by a Nassau County judge for raping two women, forcibly touching another, possessing child pornography on his personal computer, and sending graphic text messages to an underage girl.
Allocco, formerly of Bethpage and currently residing in Baldwin, pleaded guilty on March to Rape in the Second and Third Degree, Possessing Sexual Performance of a Child, and Forcible Touching. Alloco is expected to plead guilty to Endangering the Welfare of a Child after being re-arrested on April 1 for sending a 15-year old girl sexually graphic text messages.
According to Rice, Allocco pleaded guilty to the November 2004 rape of a 14-year old girl he met in church. The rape occurred in Allocco’s car near Bethpage State Park. Allocco also pleaded guilty to a June 2006 rape of a 17-year old former girlfriend that occurred in the victim’s home. He also admitted to forcibly touching a Nassau Community College classmate while driving her home from a club meeting on May 3, 2007.
The classmate was the first girl to come forward and file charges against Allocco, Rice said. The second victim later came forward to police after hearing of the charges, telling police officers that Allocco’s computer contained numerous child pornography photos and videos and that he had assaulted women in the past. A search warrant executed on his Bethpage home on May 22, 2007 revealed the images and videos. While being questioned by police, Allocco told officers of the 2004 rape.
“Mr. Allocco’s violent crime spree against women has come to an end,” Rice said. “I can only hope that his incarceration will provide his victim’s with some semblance of closure.”
Assistant District Attorney Robert Cavallo of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau is handling the case for the District Attorney’s Office. Allocco is represented by Charles Ferzola, Esq.
