DILLON ANNOUNCES:

SENTENCING OF BALDWIN MAN WHO BRUTALLY MURDERED HIS MOTHER

Nassau County District Attorney Denis Dillon announced today that Aaron Clark, 16, of 575 Rose Boulevard, Baldwin, a Juvenile Offender, received the maximum sentence of 15 years to life for the brutal murder of his mother. Clark pled guilty to Murder in the Second Degree, Intentional, on May 19, 2005 in front of Acting Supreme Court Justice William Donnino.

According to Dillon, "On Sunday, October 10th, 2004, after an argument with his mother, Aaron Clark stabbed her with a kitchen knife numerous times, stole money and her off-duty handgun, changed his clothes and then came back to finish her off. He then went to buy bleach, gloves and plastic bags and headed to a Great Neck park where he dug a shallow grave. Aaron’s mother, Gail Clark, 48, of 575 Rose Boulevard, Baldwin, was a Captain in the New York City Department of Corrections."

"As a condition of his plea, Clark has agreed to waive his right to appeal," said Dillon.
