DILLON ANNOUNCES:
SENTENCING OF LONG BEACH MAN WHO MURDERED HIS ESTRANGED WIFE
Nassau County District Attorney Denis Dillon announced today that David Malone, 36, of 91 Alabama Street, Long Beach, was sentenced to 17 years to life in prison by Acting Supreme court Justice William Donnino.
Malone pled guilty to Murder in the Second Degree (Intentional), a Class A Felony on August 10, 2005. Malone was indicted by a Grand Jury of Murder in the Second Degree (Intentional) in November of 2004.
According to Dillon, "On September 13, 2004 at approximately 9:30 p.m. David Malone bludgeoned and stabbed to death his estranged wife, Diane Malone, 32, at their home at 91 Alabama Street in Long Beach."
