EMERGENCY SERVICES

The Department maintains an emergency services program that operates from 6:00pm to 8:00am weekdays.  This service is available continuously on weekends and holidays.

The program offers the following services:

*  referrals to emergency temporary housing

*  medical transportation in limited circumstances

*  referrals for suspected child abuse

*  emergency fuel referrals

*  referrals to appropriate community agencies, if warranted

*  domestic violence intervention and referrals

Several of these program components do have income eligibility guidelines.
