EMERGENCY SERVICES

The Department maintains an emergency
services program that operates from 6:00pm to 8:00am
weekdays, and continuously on weekends and holidays.
The program offers the following services:
- referrals
to emergency temporary housing
- medical
transportation in limited circumstances
- referrals
for suspected child abuse
- emergency
fuel referrals
- referrals
to appropriate community agencies, if warranted
- domestic
violence intervention and referrals
Several of these program components do have income eligibility
guidelines.
