The Contractor Plan Submission and Fee Guide sets forth the requirements for submitting plans to the Nassau County Fire Marshals Office for review.
The guide addresses plan submission for fire & life safety systems such as Fire Alarms, Smoke & Heat Detection Systems, Automatic Extinguishing Systems, Grease Hood & Duct Systems, Automatic Fire Suppression Systems & Fire Sprinklers. Also addressed are Site Plans for new structures, Tank & Piping installations, and installations of LPG (Propane Gas).
In addition to "new" installations, the Contractor Guide addresses the requirements for systems modifications (relocate work), and for preliminary work (rough out's) which may be performed prior to final plan approval.
