With six rabid raccoons confirmed in Nassau County, the New York State Department of Health and the United States Department of Agriculture, Wildlife Services (USDA) will be distributing raccoon rabies vaccine by helicopter Tuesday, 9/14. Ground baiting will be completed by dusk today, September 13, 2004.
