Ban on Local Drinking Water Lifted

Nassau County Health Commissioner Dr. David Ackman and Robert York of the West Hempstead Garden Water District will be available to answer questions regarding the resolution of the contamination by MTBE (Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether) at the West Hempstead Water District serving West Hempstead and portions of Franklin Square, Garden City South and Cathedral Gardens.
