The Nassau County Department of Health has allowed the following 23 beaches to reopen, effective today, August 31, 2006.

All 18 Nassau County North Shore Beaches*

and

On the South Shore in Nassau County:

Biltmore Beach Club Beach
Hewlett Point Beach
Island Park Beach
Merrick Estates Civic Association Beach
Phillip Healey Beach
