Beaches Open
The Nassau County Department of Health has allowed the following 23 beaches to reopen, effective today, July 25th.
All 18 Nassau County North Shore Beaches*
and
On the South Shore in Nassau County:

These beaches had been closed as a precautionary measure due to stormwater runoff. Water sampling conducted by the Health Department indicates that water quality is within acceptable levels.
