MEDIA ADVISORY

The Nassau County Department of Health Commissioner, Dr. Maria Torroella Carney, will be addressing a case of measles in Nassau County this morning. Measles is a highly communicable disease.

Individuals who have not been immunized against measles, especially pregnant women and children who have not been immunized, are particularly at risk if they were shopping at two sites last Thursday.
