Ground Spraying for West Nile Virus Partially Completed in Sections of Great Neck and Kings Point
On Thursday evening, August 19th, the ground spraying for West Nile virus was completed in parts of Great Neck and Kings Point (areas east of Middle Neck Road). This spraying was conducted to help control mosquitoes which may be carrying the West Nile virus.
Weather permitting, the ground spraying will resume on Monday, August 23rd in sections of Great Neck and Kings Point (west of Middle Neck Road) beginning at 7 pm and ending at 5 am. Alternate dates will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 24th and 25th beginning at 7 pm and ending at 5 am.
