Health Department Officials to Address MTBE Contamination of Local Drinking Water

Mineola, NY – Nassau County Health Commissioner Dr. David Ackman and Robert York of the West Hempstead-Hempstead Gardens Water District will be available to answer questions regarding raised levels of Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE) in water distribution systems serving West Hempstead and portions of Franklin Square, Garden City South and Cathedral Gardens.
