On June 6, at 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., in Roosevelt’s Centennial Park, families will have the opportunity to enjoy “Family Empowerment Day” that will feature a Family Fun Fest as well as “Palming the Ball” with Marquis Daniels of the Indiana Pacers. Local youth are urged to participate in a basketball clinic sponsored by Mr. Daniels. The “Feed the Children Organization” will be on hand to distribute non-perishable items.

To close this wonderful community event, at 4 p.m. there will be a mini concert headlined by Rap stars Bun B and Papoose and featuring DJ Kay Slay of radio station Hot 97 and music provided by Wayne Glover Productions. In addition, there will be live performances by local talent.
