Legislator Scannell Encourages Residents to Know the Differences Between Cold and H1N1 Flu Symptoms

Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) encourages residents to be aware of the differences between cold and H1N1 flu symptoms.

“Knowledge is power, and in this case, can save your life,” Legislator Scannell said. “It’s important to know immediately if you have swine flu so you begin to receive treatment and not infect those around you. Often people with H1N1 flu symptoms mistakenly think they only have a cold.”
