Leg Scannell Funds Thermal Imaging Cameras for RVC Fire Dept.
Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) secured $25,000 in Community Revitalization Project funds for the Rockville Centre Fire District to purchase two new thermal imaging cameras. He presented firefighters with a vanity check at a recent meeting at Town Hall.
“It is my privilege to assist the dedicated firefighters of the Rockville Centre Fire District with the funds they need to buy thermal imaging cameras,” Legislator Scannell said. “The equipment will enable them to assess dangerous situations more effectively, reducing the risk to themselves and the citizens they fight to save.”
