Legislator Scannell Pitches In At The Big Sweep

Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin), fourth from right, rear, joined members of the Town of Hempstead

Sanitary District Number 2, Boy Scouts from Troop 182, Key Club members and members of the South Hempstead Civic Association

when they pitched in at “The Big Sweep.” The event brings together volunteers each year to sweep Grand Avenue and other roadways.

Legislator Scannell was joined by Town of Hempstead Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby and Councilman Tony Santino.
