Legislator Scannell Hosts Tax Grievance Workshop in Freeport

Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D- Baldwin) (center) introduces Count Assessment representative Helen McQueen who fielded questions from curious homeowners during the February 15th event held at the Freeport Public Library. These workshops are designed to assist homeowners with questions on how to appeal property tax assessments. Legislator Scannell holds community events across his South shore district on a variety of important topics.
