Legislator Scannell Praises Freeport Red Devil’s Football Champs

As a point of personal privilege, during the December 20th session of the Legislature, Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) honored the Freeport Red Devils High School Football team. This past football season the team won their second consecutive Class I Long Island Football championship. The Red Devil’s also earned the coveted Rutgers Cup which is given to the most outstanding scholastic football team in Nassau County. Legislator Scannell congratulated the team and the coaches for their outstanding achievements.
