Legislator Scannell Teaches Plaza Street Second Graders All About Government

Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) enjoyed sharing his vast knowledge of government with the children in Marjorie Sundquist’s second grade class at Plaza Street Elementary School.

“It was a pleasure to speak to the children about government,” Legislator Scannell said. “They were a very smart group and very attentive. Reaching out to children at such a young age is important because it paves the way for an early understanding of government.”
