Legislator Bosworth Honors Ivar Segalowitz

Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) was pleased to honor Great Neck Park District Commissioner
Ivar Segalowitz at his retirement dinner on December 7 at Tulip Restaurant. Leg. Bosworth presented Mr. Segalowitz with a
citation recognizing his 9 years of outstanding service and commitment. She especially noted that during his tenure as
Commissioner with the Park District, many improvements were made, including the expansion and upgrade of the Parkwood Pool Complex and the creation of the Children’s PlayGarden, a non-traditional playground which provides an enriched recreational environment for children of all abilities. Leg. Bosworth also commented that Mr. Segalowitz's work greatly enhanced the quality of
