Legislator Wink Guest Reader at Community Read Aloud

Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) was invited to Manorhaven Elementary School to read to children at the 2009 Community Read Aloud where he read to the Mr. Lennon’s fourth grade class.

“I’m always happy to be given an opportunity to encourage children to read,” Legislator Wink said. “Reading is so valuable, something that children can enjoy just as much as watching television or playing video games. I hope that, by reading to these children today, they will enjoy it so much that they will be inspired to read on their own as well."
