Massapequa Girl Scout Receives “Gold Award”

Marissa Ryan of Girl Scout Troop 3081 was honored as Massapequa’s newest Girl Scout to achieve the coveted “Gold Award,” the highest award in Girl Scouting. Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt, the Minority Leader of the Legislature, was on hand to present special Legislative recognition to Marissa, proclaiming May 24th as “Marissa Ryan Day” in Nassau County in her honor.
