Legislator Mejias Speaks Out in Support at Walk Like MADD

Nassau County Legislator Dave Mejias (D-Farmingdale), an invited guest, encouraged members and supporters of Mothers Against Drunk Driving to continue their efforts to keep drunk drivers off the road at Walk Like MADD, the signature walk sponsored by the organization, a fun, community-driven 5K fund raising event. Legislator Mejias spoke about Nassau County’s “Social Host Law” (which he sponsored), legislation that places legal responsibility on homeowners for allowing underage drinking in their homes.
