Mejias named a rising star by Long Island Business News

Nassau County Legislator Dave Mejias (D-North Massapequa) has been selected by the Long Island Business News as a member of the 2007 Class of the 40 Under 40 program, an award that honors Long Island’s best and brightest rising stars.

Honorees, all under the age of 40, are chosen based on career achievements and dedication to their community.

“I am truly honored to be recognized by the Long Island Business News for my achievements as a legislator, but the fact that this award takes note of my commitment to my community makes it especially meaningful,” said Legislator Mejias. “I would also like to congratulate my fellow 40 Under 40 honorees.”
