School Board Recognition Week Celebrated

Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) visited the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District Board at their meeting on Monday evening, October 18th to celebrate School Board Recognition Week. The Legislator presented all the board members with a proclamation of thanks and a special little note pad which applauded their abilities to work as a team for the betterment of the children of the district. Jacobs said, “It is nice to take a moment to thank individuals who donate their time to insure the excellence of our school district. The value of our community is a direct result of the excellence of the school district and I know I am joined by the community in saying thank you.”

School Board Recognition Week Celebrated

Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) also visited the Syosset School District Board at their meeting on Monday evening, October 18th to celebrate School Board Recognition Week. The Legislator presented all the Board members with a proclamation of thanks and a special little note pad which applauded their abilities to work as a team for the betterment of the children. Prior to Jacobs’ presentation, she thoroughly enjoyed a presentation by children representing all the elementary schools. Jacobs said, “To hear the vocabulary, the confidence, the intelligence and see the happiness in the children’s faces was an unexpected treat for me which only magnified the reasons we should be so proud of the Syosset School District and its’ devoted school board members.”
