Bayville Bridge Rehabilitation Status Report from Legislator Diane Yatauro:

The Nassau County Department of Public Works has deemed it necessary to once again rehabilitate the Bayville Bridge. This project is one which requires the complete closing of the bridge for 24 days during the month of October, 2006. The Bayville Bridge will be closed between October 2nd and October 26th. The bridge will re-open on October 27th. During this time, there will be a detour set up, guiding vehicles down Cleft, Factory Pond, and Bayville Roads.

I apologize to both the residents affected, as well as those who must use this detour. The inconvenience will be as brief as possible, and I ask that those who are detoured please be courteous while driving through the designated detour neighborhoods.
