Mineola, NY - Nassau County Legislator Diane Yatauro (D-Glen Cove) recently announced that essential roadwork to resurface pavement in city of Glen Cove and neighboring roads throughout Nassau County will commence in the near future.

"Weathered and damaged roads lead to disastrous, if not fatal, accidents which is why it is important that we always continue to strive to repair roads and make them as safe as possible," said Legislator Yatauro. "Keeping the County's infrastructure is an essential part of keeping Nassau moving forward."

The roads in the City of Glen Cove that will be receiving resurfacing are Walnut Road from Forest Avenue to Pearsall Avenue, Pearsall Avenue from Glen Avenue to Town Path and Dosoris Way from Forest Avenue to Walnut Road. The project also consists of the removal and replacement of deteriorated pavement and re-striping.
