Leg Denenberg Reminds Students Changes in Financial Aid Makes A Harvard Education Possible

Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg reminds high school students that attending Harvard College can be a reality regardless of family income. Changes in financial aid have made attending the prestigious college, once considered out of reach for many students, a reality.

“According to Harvard, parents with total incomes of less than $60,000 are expected to pay nothing for their child’s education,” Legislator Denenberg said. “And parents with incomes between $60 and $180,000 and typical assets will pay an average of up to 10 percent of their income. This new financial aid package will definitely help many students make their dreams of attending an Ivy League college come true.”
