Legislator Denenberg Congratulates Members of US Naval Academy's Sail Training Squadron

Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick), center, congratulated the members of the United States Naval Academy’s Sail Training Squadron presenting them with a county citation. The Village of Freeport hosted the team. Legislator Denenberg attended a barbeque dinner joining the midshipmen and women who arrived on four single-mast sailing vessels which were docked at the Esplanade on the Nautical Mile. He was joined by Nicholas Mehalic, 2nd Class/Navy; Samantha Smith, 3rd Class/Navy; James Kelly, 2nd Class/Navy; Jace Fincher, 3rd Class/Navy; James Lee, Commander; Mantial Guitteau, French midshipman; Alex Craven, 2nd Class/Navy; and David Enert, 2nd Class/Navy.
