Legislator Denenberg Supports Groups Helping With the Tackapausha Preserve Clean-up

Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick), third from right front, joined members of the Seaford Wellness Council

and Seaford High School’s Key Club members at the Tackapausha Preserve Cleanup on June 6, National Trails Day.

He was joined by from left, Angela Egan, Coleen Graziose, Mike Di Silvio, Warren Vanderwater, Peter Ruffner, Wendy Albin, Lois -Curator,

Ken Nersesian, Charles Wroblewski, Lucie Bean,Don Paulsen, and Keri Degman, the faculty advisor for Seaford High School Key Club.

National Trails Day is an annual celebrationand volunteering drive organized by the American Hiking Society and other outdoor

groups and retailers as a way to draw attentionto and work on preserving our wild spaces.
