Summer Camp Program

The Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency and Developmental Services partially funds AHRC to provide Camp Services. The AHRC’s Camp Loyal town is a summer sleep-away camp located at Hunter Mountain, New York. The Camp is open both to children and adults, ages five to eighty five plus who have developmental disabilities, with a safe, respectful and fun filled two weeks break from school, day program and family setting. All individuals are provided with age appropriate and functionally appropriate programs and recreational activities.
