MRDD Outpatient Rehab Services
The Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Chemical
Dependency and Developmental Services partially funds
the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island to
provide outpatient Rehabilitative Services. Clinical
services are provided to assist individuals and caregivers
to cope with developmental disabilities and epilepsy
as well as to provide access to proper diagnosis and
treatment. Services are provided that assist developmentally
disabled individuals with epilepsy to sustain themselves
in appropriate community settings. Services typically
include but are not limited to, information and referral,
counseling, case management, education and support groups.
