DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PROGRAM

The County of Nassau Office of Minority Affairs (OMA) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) under the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), 49 CFR Part 26. It is the policy of the County to ensure that DBEs, as defined in 49 CFR Part 26, have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in USDOT-assisted contacts.

The County shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, religion or disability in the award, administration and performance of any contract or in the administration of its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program. The County shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination.
