LEARN HOW TO BECOME CERTIFIED

DBE certification is a federal program certification. It is separate and distinct from the New York State M/WBE program.   Nassau County does not certify DBE’s.  

For certification you must submit the applications to one of the following agencies. Being certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) by one of these agencies automatically makes you certified with all four.

• Affidavit of Certification
• Supporting Documents Checklist
• Complete Application Package (includes all documents above)
